What it is

Select Benefits is an employee benefit management system that has been designed to display and administer modern, flexible benefit arrangements. Select Benefits has two primary functions:

1. The first of these is the ability to administer employee benefits using a rules-based structure that allows each client to have their exact benefit structure mapped quickly and accurately.
2. Secondly, the Application Service Provision (ASP) delivery of the solution offers online employee secure access from either work or home, through the Internet.

In addition to the above, the system is designed to offer “mass customisation”. This means that it provides a truly flexible platform that can be modified for each client’s specific requirements with maximum efficiency.

What it does

The system provides a structured approach to the employee benefit management process. The process is linked to the monthly payroll cycle and has an annual renewal.

The employee interface - using employee “events” (e.g. joining service, lifestyle changes, etc.), each member of staff is able to access their own benefit account, see benefit information and personalised pricing before submitting their choices. A workflow function ensures that any benefit application process is completed.

The system provides tax information and a benefit modelling capability.

The administration interface – the secure administration function provides access to reports to produce benefit data. Other reports and data extracts are provided for payroll, P11D data and internal management information and analysis.
